I have a WAG54GS with the latest firmware connected up to a Windows 2000 box and a DSL connection. I'm getting masses of messages in the router log like this:

    Thu, 2007-07-05 15:15:47 - eth0 Link UP.
    Thu, 2007-07-05 15:15:50 - eth0 Link DOWN.
    Thu, 2007-07-05 15:15:52 - eth0 Link UP.
    Thu, 2007-07-05 15:15:55 - eth0 Link DOWN.
    Thu, 2007-07-05 15:15:57 - eth0 Link UP.
    Thu, 2007-07-05 15:16:00 - eth0 Link DOWN.
    Thu, 2007-07-05 15:16:01 - eth0 Link UP.
    Thu, 2007-07-05 15:16:04 - eth0 Link DOWN.
    Thu, 2007-07-05 15:16:06 - eth0 Link UP.

The internet connection seems to be working fine. Do I need to do anything about these messages?

    Solved

Turns out it was a defective NIC on another PC.
