Extending network through Linksys RT31P2

I've run out of ports on my WRT54GL. I could add a switch, but to keep the number of devices down I'd like to extend my network to use the three LAN ports on my Linksys RT32P1 VoIP adapter from Vonage.

I know I can simply hang the RT32P1 off the WRT54GL, but it would introduce another layer of NAT that I don't want. There will be two TiVos connected to the RT32P1 which mostly talk to the TiVo service and to each other, so maybe that would be okay.

Is this something I could do with RIP? If so, I'm missing it. I had hoped that this would be as easy as disabling NAT and enabling RIP2 on both devices.
