Factory Default = no DHCP from router

I've had three WRT54G routers running in WDS mode with great success. I was using the dd-wrt.V23_mini_generic.bin of 9/30/05.

I wanted to try something different on one of them so I went into the admin page to Set Factory defaults on a WRT54G V4. It said it completed successfully and then went to "page not found" in IE. I rebooted the computer but it couldn't get an IP from the router. I can give the PC a static IP and get into the router via DHCP was set to ENBABLE so I set to disable the to enable but no go.

What is the safest way to fix this? Did I do something wrong. I had read that it best to load the mini version of the fw prior to other fw and its best to always set to factory defaults prior to advancing to the next step.

    Thanks for your time!

    Use DNSMasq as dhcp server.

Would it be safe to load the stock firmware back to the router with Linksys's .exe file?

Same problem here. No dynamic IP on the wireless interface but on the wired one. I'm really stuck in this :(
