Fast user switching in XP disconnects wlan connection

I'm using XP SP2, a Core duo laptop with a intel 3945abg wireless card + the WRT54GC router.

When I fast user switch my wireless connection is cut off and I need to connect again with the other user account, very bothersome and prevents me from downloading stuff with both accounts simultaniously.

I've tried using both windows and intels wireless utility to configure the networks to no avail.

Is there a fix for this? Is this normal, and what is causing it?

Although I don't use Fast User Switching function, it could be normal if connection profiles are per user settings (I turn it off as a matter of fact) - a wireless adapter can only have one connection session at any given time, so this will count as 2 separate ones, abeit connecting to the same router.

How do you turn this off?
