Hello! I would really appreciate some help before I buy my new router. I have been looking atthe WRT54G as it seems to amazlingly powerful, but I have some questions :

    1) I am in the UK, and am currently using a Netgear DM602 modem connected to a WGR614. This router is causing problems, so I want to replace it. Will the WRT54G also work fine with my Netgear modem? As the modem is set up in DMZ as a simple router, will this cause issues with 'double NATting'? Will uPNP still work, or in fact does this not matter?

    2) Is anyone using the WRT54G successfully for P2P sharing, e.g. edonkey? My WGR614 crashes due to 'too many connections', and I heard that some firmwares have the same problems on the WRT54G

    Many thanks for any help!!

Does anyone use the WRT54G for P2P downloading? Or if not, can someone recommend an alternative? Surely it's a damned popular use these days??!
