Filtering IPs on WRT54G

    I have a Linksys WRT54G
I am looking to filter specific IPs from going out.
I noticed that Linksys stuff can filter Http sites (i.e. URLs) but cannot filter out IPs.
How can I get it to do this and would I need to use a non-linksys firmware in order to do this.
If so which ones would be good for this.
    Thanks for all your help!!!!!

    Try DD-WRT.

you can also use the access restrictions in the the base Linksys firmware. The only problem I found with it is that it doesn't respect the time of day settings (at least not on my version 1.0 with 4.20.7 firmware).

So if you go and add a PC (edit list of PCs) and add in the MAC of the system you want to block, then set the policy to deny internet access, that computer will no longer be able to surf the web.

I am going to be trying out DD-wrt myself to see if it resolves the time of day problem
