    Hey experts,

I've got a problem here. Here's my current setup:

FIOS Internet/Phone/TV with an Actiontec MI424WR Router
Two (2) Linksys WRT54GL Routers that will have Tomato on them
    XBox 360

I don't want to use the Actiontec router but, without buying a NIM, I have to use it in order to get my TV guide, Verizon On Demand, DVR, etc.. So, I want to use the Actiontec as the modem only and use one WRT54GL as my router. Then, I need to use the other WRT54GL as my wireless gaming adapter for my XBox 360. What is the best way to do this??? It's driving me crazy!!

Am I not giving enough information??

If I'm not telling you enough, please tell me.

Right now, here's what I've got:

    1. Actiontec:
    a. Wireless is off
    b. DHCP server distributes to range of 192.168.1.2 - 192.168.1.100
    c. One linksys is in actiontec's DMZ with IP of 192.168.1.121
    d. Firewall set to minimum

    2. DMZ'd linksys from above (Running Tomato):
    a. WAN/Internet:
    i. Static IP/Subnet/Gateway is 192.168.1.121/255.255.255.0/192.168.1.1
    b. LAN:
    i. Router IP/Subnet/Gateway is 192.168.1.101/255.255.255.0/192.168.1.1
    ii. DHCP server is disabled
    c. WIRELESS:
    i. Wireless is enabled
ii. Wireless Mode is set to Access Point + WDS
iii. B/G Mode is set to Mixed
iv. Set SSID name and enabled broadcast
    v. Channel is set to 3
vi. Security is disabled (Temporary until I get things working)
vii. WDS is set to link with the wirless and lan MAC addresses of 2nd linksys

    3. 2nd linksys (Running Tomato):
    a. WAN/Internet:
    i. Static IP/Subnet/Gateway is 192.168.1.121/255.255.255.0/192.168.1.1
    b. LAN:
    i. Router IP/Subnet/Gateway is 192.168.1.102/255.255.255.0/192.168.1.1
    ii. DHCP server is disabled
    c. WIRELESS:
    i. Wireless is enabled
ii. Wireless Mode is set to Wireless Client
iii. B/G Mode is set to Mixed
iv. Set SSID name to same SSID as first linksys
    v. Channel is set to 3
vi. Security is disabled (Temporary until I get things working)

Does anyone know if I'm remotely close? Am I being a complete noob??

use one WRT54GL as your router, and use the other one as a WET (connected to your Xbox 360), etc.

Search the forum on WET (Wireless Ethernet Bridge)
