Firewall script help

    I would like to set up a script so that i can block any incomming packets from an ip address.. how would i go about doing this using the latest version of tomato.. sorry im a little new at all the linux/telnet/scripting stuff..

    Try something like:
    iptables -A INPUT -s <IP_ADDRESS> -j DROP

    thank you.. works, i built a server and i have recently been having problems with syn floods and what i am doing is connecting the application server to the telnet interface of the router so that way i can do ip bans via the router instead of the application server..

    Nice side-swipe there Solixa, but this is a very specialized environment. We are focused on getting our routers to perform our needed tasks as Tomato provides. When we need your software, we will look for your services on Google. Pay Google for some advertizing. If you have a market, you will get rich. If not, keep trying !
