Is there a way to implement some sort of firewall in EWRT for the NoCatSplash hotspot access?

I would like to do something like block all port but 443, 80, 5230....

    Thanks,

    Matt

    Here is another question,

Has anyone been able to save their configuration settings with EWRT? When I press on the button, nothing happens. I'm referring to backing up the .cfg file so you can restore your configurations if something bad occurs.

    Thanks,

    Matt

add an explicit allow for those ports then an explicit deny all traffic the rules at the top take precidence over the bottom ones, no idea about the save thing but it's probably your browser.

    Thanks for the reply Guy.

Where do you block these ports? I have tried going to the menu - Access Restrictions - Internet Access - Blocked Services. I blocked UDP & TCP ports 1-65000. I saved then restarted.

I was still able to access all outgoing ports. Maybe this only blocks incoming ports, not outgoing?

Do you know of any other way to download/save the .cfg file? The Restore button works for me!

you could use ipfw rules directly rather than that access control section... i've never tried to do it that way... and I guess you could run nvram show and then save that data and you could re-build it pretty easily if you ever needed to... did you try a different browser?
