I know it has been posted on this forum and ddwrt's own.
I wanted to confirm a few things
    1) if I am already on v22 of ddwrt, can I use web interface to upgrade firmware after resetting to factory defaults then flash firmware? Or do I need to load Linksys firmware then flash with 3rd party firmware? I believe yes but wanted to confirm

    2) in the v23 zip packages there are quite a few selections. What firmware do you flash with first after resetting to factory defaults?
I am guessing it should be dd-wrt.v23_mini_generic.bin
Then at this point then just reflash again to dd-wrt.v23_mini_wrt54g or gs.bin depending on which version you have?

    3) If i wanted to use the standard packages etc then I would go to dd-wrt.v23_mini_generic.bin first then use the standard packages is this correct? so essentially dd-wrt.v23_mini_generic.bin, then dd-wrt.v23_generic.bin then dd-wrt.v23_wrt54g/s.bin

    4) Wrong forum to post... I know but why do we have to do a factory reset before flashing?

    Thanks in advance!!

You can go straight to the new dd-wrt firmware without first going back the Linksys.
