I Accidently Flashed a G with Linksys GS upgrade.........Works great with hard wired but have no wireless and I can't reflash it to the v3 G firmware.........Keeps saying Upgrade are faild...

    Any Ideas?

What about erasing the flash so the stock firmware can be put back on?

P.S. This router is not bricked............just half bricked.

    WRT54G v3 wireless driver.

    To MattLL

    That's a nice one,
Now, I think the problem is that you have, is an old wireless driver in your (WRTGS V2.x ?) firmware.

The shortest way is to upgrade to a newer wrt54gs firmware, but this can give some minor problems afterwards (some NVRAM settings, maybe is this what you have?). Or better load the HyperWrt for the GS model, this will solve all these problems for you.

The long way is to load a generic firmware, from dd-wrt and load the 4.20.x or 4.30.x firmware.

    Thanks there jchuit............

I tried every thing..............right down to the debricking method........and nothing seemed to work........The dd-wrt generic bin. worked great........The GS firmware is gone and the I put Linksys offical G v3 Firmware back on it.........
