    Hello,
I tried to flash your firmware... I can flash the original Linksys firmware from tftp or from the admin page on a firmware, but when I try to flash your firmware, I get no dhcp lease and can't access the config web pages. I tried resetting the router after flashing, but still can't get a lease or access the web config. Anyone have a suggestion?

    Thanks,

ok tfpt wont work with any firmware over 3.1 mb,

upgrade to 1.4 via web browser then reset (30 seconds) then try and clone the mac address. and see if that helps

I'm sorry, I don't understand what cloneing the mac address has to do with anything?
I did the update though the web interface, I meant that I used tftp to reflash linksys each time it had an issue... I also tried holding the reset button down for 30secs...

the dhcp maybe released due to a new firmware upgrade and reset may need to be done.

i thought the mac address cloning may help as it could help renew the dhcp, thats all.

I have ran hyperwrt 1.4 on my v2 fine so something is amiss at you end.

Always set an ip-address on the workstation for flashing firmware, dont use dhcp...

try set 192.168.1.2/24 as your ip and then try to reach your router http:/192.168.1.1

but reset your router before (30secs the reset-button)

after you can reach your router again you can set you workstation for dhcp again...

and dont forget this "flashing procedure":

    1. Reboot Router
    2. Flash from a workstation with the html-interface with a static ip
    3. after flashing succeeds, reboot router
    4. set to factory defaults
    5. set your environment..

Thats the way it works for me 30+ times....

    hope this helps

    greets
