In an attempt to use fwbuilder I managed to make the router very secure.....locked myself out of it. In hopes that I don't do it again can anyone post a working ruleset?

I asked the same question before ... and somebody was willing to post it, but haven't seen it yet ...

I'm afraid too, to lock myself out ...

We'll see ... maybe this should act as a wake-up call ... to remind the fact that there are users who are willing to use the iptables in combination with the fwbuilder program ...

I ended up holding the reset button on the back of the router which reset the firewall ruleset to the firmware defaults :)

If you use the default setup for a sveasoft/linksys router it will allow access to the firewall automatically. You have to allow internal network(s) to the firewall on port 22 and 80. Let me see if I can get a screen shot of my global rules.

    This is kind of what I wanted ... But I use DD-WRT, are these interfaces still the same ... I mean vlan0, vlan1, br0 etc ... ?

Any others out there with config for DD-WRT ?

It should work fine as dd-wrt was based off sveasoft's alchemy code.

more so I would like to see something like what fwbuilder has as an addon for the web-interface on dd-wrt but that's beyond my programming knowledge.
