I'm using Toastman's Build and I've never been able to get the gateway address out of the QoS details listing unless I use the checkbox for it.

This is a minor nit, but it's aggravated me for a long time. I've made rules to classify it in every shape and form and it's all to no avail. Does anyone else have this problem? I've tried it on different router hardware with different versions.

There's a checkbox to exclude gateway traffic? Holy cow there is a checkbox. Sorry, I'm a fairly recent convert from Teddy's TomatoUSB builds so some of the newer features snuck by me.

View Details is basically showing you every established connection flowing into or out of your router. If you talk to your router for DNS, those connections are going to show up. If you want DNS names for your View Details, then it's going to have to make connections to reverse lookup those IPs to names, and so those will show up.

The only way I can think of you stopping this info from ever showing up is to make your own custom build where, in effect, that checkbox is always enabled when you View Details. But sometimes its useful to know that info... for instance, if someone on the outside world is performing a DDoS attack on you...

Sadly, I don't have the time to make my own Build. I just wish it were checked by default. I have so many gateway connections usually, that it obscures what I want to look at.
