Getting 2 new routers (very excited)

I am going to start another one of these "Best firmware" threads.

3 days ago I picked up 2 WRT54G's from ebay for $3.50 each bricked of course. Since I have the "Skills" to make them live again, and I will not actually be using them for anything(right away). I would like to know what a good firmware to play with would be. I currently use OpenWRT for all of my wrt's and would like to get away from all the manual labor that comes with it.

The only things I really need in the firmware are: Decent QoS support, WDS, and a pptp Client/server. If there is not one that has all of these features, I can do without the pptp.

I don't use OpenVpn because my boss is all about not installing extra things, And he is a M$ zealot so he will not use something that is open source, sad I know. This will be my endpoint to the main office, and I would like to be able to connect to my home network from abroad.

If anyone has any suggestions on what my best bet would be I would appreciate a response. If you just want to tell me to quit being lazy and try them all, than I would still appreciate a response.

    Thanks in advance,

    Chance

Try tomato. It's supposed to have most of the features you are looking for with an added slick interface.
You'll need to find which revision of the WRT54G you are receiving before though.
