The reason that I am swithing to your firmware is I have and Xbox thats on a DMZ addy. During online game play it will disconnect me from the online service. If I conncet direct to my modem then it works fine. I am using or what ever the next to last firmware was from linksys. They claim that this is Xbox complient but I believe that it is not. Will your firmware fix this?

No idea. Have you tried setting the xbox IP in DMZ?
I have an xbox here, but no live to test it

I have the box wired so I know its not a wireless thing. The disconnections are spratic. Sometimes I can play with no interuptions and sometimes i get disconnected from the live service like crazy. The internet connection never goes down. I have other devices on the network that work fine.

Also when I am directly connected to the modem I can host more players with no lag. Why is my through put down behind the linksys?

When I get droped I can push the sign on to xlive and it will come back up.

I have a smoothwall router that I am going to connect before the linksys and turn the linksys into a router instead of a gateway.

Also where is the power turn up feature? I havn't had a chance to play with your firmware yet. Its installed but thats it.

Should I ask this same question on the hardware fourm?

If "Block Anonymous Internet Requests" is checked under Security -> Firewall, try unchecking it, as ping is most likely important to xbox gaming (and gaming in general).

Actually it must be a hardware problem as I just set up one of my old smoothwall routers and connected the Xbox behind it and it works like a champ.

If I connect my xbox throu any linksys hub/switch/router it drops my out of my game. If I use my net gear switch then it work fine. I even went and bought a new 8 port switch from linksys to test this. The new switch droped my game also.
