Google forum search is broken

    The google forum search is not working.

    I used forum search term
    WRT54G smoke

    and got this result page

    http://www.google.com/custom?domain...if;S:http://www.linksysinfo.org;FORID:1&hl=en

    The first result is
    http://www.linksysinfo.org/forums/archive/index.php?t-42287.html

    but that link ends up at

    http://www.linksysinfo.org/forums/index.php

    Indicating the google index is stale, there is no /archive directory.
    The problem could be related to the robots.txt file at
    http://www.linksysinfo.org/robots.txt
    I am no expert at robots.txt, but the last line
    Disallow: /forums/archive/
    may keep the googlebot from looking through the archives. Kind of pointless having a google search and keeping the googlebot away. But like I said I am no expert at robots.txt.

    Maybe you should just turn on the vbulleten search?

    it is now afaik

    yes there is a /archive directory. google index was not stale.

    Its always been turned on.
