ok I'm trying to turn 1 wrt54gs router into a hub due to a broken piece inside of my router to 1 of the antennas. went out and bought another wrt54gs router. Now I'm trying to hook the broken one from the internet port to port 4 of the working that way I can have a 7 port wired/wireless router but only problem is I'm unable to see the other pcs via lan so we can't do lan games. Is there any settings in the advanced menu to where I can turn this broken wrt54gs into a hub instead of a router. I've also tried making changes in the advanced routing btw I'm using hyperwrt on both routers. Anyone got any suggestions on how to get this to work?

Did you change the local address of the first router not to conflict wirh the second? They both have to be on the same subnet of 192.168.1.X with the same mask 0f You have to turn off the DHCP server on the router you want to use as a hub and in Advanced Routing it should be set a a Router and not a Gateway. The Router you want to connect as a hub must be connected by one of its LNN ports to the LAN port of the Router you are using as the Gateway. You then power cycle both units.
