Is there a firmware out there, which will recognize hacking attempts (repeated bad keys, etc), and blacklist and/or report the offending mac address and details?

I've got my WRT54G configured with a MAC filter, and a WPA2 personal key, but I'd like to know if people are trying to connect and when

I don't think there is such a firmware.

With WPA2 and MAC filter you are rock solid. I wouldn't worry about it. I would be cool to know though.
