    Hello all,

I want to know if it is possible to receive some sort of alert on my computer if someone tries to connect to my wireless router?
I have now 1 pc that is connected to my WRT54G (with HyperWRT).
I'm pretty newbie so if it's possible I need a good explanation on how to do this.
I've heard of a program called wallwatcher and log viewer but they provide me to much information.

    Thx in advance.

The simplest way to do this is put a copy of airsnare

    http://home.comcast.net/~jay.deboer/airsnare/

Put your trusted machines in its list and anytime a MAC is detected which is not in your list it and email, announce, net send.

It is basic as MAC can be spoofed but it is a simple detector.

From there - you would have to be looking/analyzing your routers logs
