Has anyone been able to restore KERNEL using HeiryDairyMaid via jtag cable?

    wrt54g.exe -flash:kernel /silent

I can -flash:nvram just fine but if I do the kernel, it all works but the router does not boot. Only way to load firmware is via tftp?

HeiryDairyMaid JTAG manual says one SHOULD BE able to flash kernel just as one can flash CFE and NVRAM but kernel does not wok for me?

So can anyone confirm if flashing kernel via jtag works at all?

    Thanks
