    Hello!

I've a problem with the newbroadcom firmware. I upgrade the fw a few days ago and I work with it fine... Yesterday I must power off one of my router and after the reboot the WDS signal was lost... I search and search andfound today that the WLAN MAC Adress is bad! There is 00:90:4C:5F:00:2A ?? And It must be normaly 00:0F:66:90:47:XX (One more then the LAN Adress..)

How I can rest the MAC Adresses or can I make a command over the command shell?

I try this with 2 other WRT54G and it's the same problem... Now all have the MAC Adress 00:90:4C:5F:00:2A... Its a great bug in the firmware..

    Thanks for help!

there was afaik a bug in the sveasoft alchemy firmware with mac addresses and wds. this is most likely the same in newbroadcom since newbroadcom is nothing more then a name changed alchemy firmware.

unless the new author fixes this (i doubt it) though it will be done if he copies a new version of alchemy in the future (more likely).

sorry for the pun but... you get what you pay for:) or dont in the case of newbroadcom

    "Get what you pay for"?

Hey Toxic, I thought commentary about the licensing schemes of firmware distributors wasn't allowed on this forum? :)
