    Hi everyone,
    this is quite urgent.

I have Windows 7 installed on this laptop and everytime this laptop is on, it will freeze/hang my two desktops.

    Event ID: 8003
    Source: Browser

Description: The master browser has received a server announcement from the computer <Windows NT client> that believes that it is the master browser for the domain on transport <NetBT>. The master browser is stopping or an election is being forced.

The best I can find to resolve the issue is from this link.
    http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;135464

To stop the 8003 error messages, make sure the routers on the network are not forwarding UDP broadcasts, keeping browser elections on NetBT local to each subnet and enable WINS or lmhosts on the network for netbios name resolution.

Note Switches that are configured for VLAN's (virtual segmentation) have to be configured on a per VLAN basis to prevent UDP broadcast propagation.

However, I have no idea what that means or what to do on my router to resolve the issue.
    I am running Tomato 1.25.
    Please help me.
    Thanks a lot.

    I THINK I solved it.
I wentinto Services for the client that thinks itself as the master browser, went into Services > Computer Browser > selected Disable.

No more Event 8003 for one whole hour; usually it occurs every 30mins from what I've read.
