Hi. I have a 2 WRT54G routers, versions 2.2 and 3. I want to set up 2.2 as a decent wireless ethernet bridge with the ability to use all 4 ports. It will just be used for gaming devices right now (Xbox 360), but possibly others down the road. Could someone point me in the right direction on what firmware i should use and what settings i should use?

I would use openwrt on both ends and set up one as an ap, and the other as a client bridge.

Actually fairly easy to accomplish if you have about 20 minutes to research first.

EDIT: All you need to know.

OpenWRT is a fine choice but just about any firmware will do it, if i remember right even the stock firmware has a wireless client option. Also there are several ways to accomplish what you want so as stated do a little research and theres lots of options out there. If you find questions about anyone way feel free to post those questions and we can go from there.
