Wake-On-Lan is a function that allows, as the name implies, to wake-up a PC turned off or in standby by sending a command on the network.

The goal was to allow administrators to turn on all PCs in a lab/company/department easily with a single network command.

So, the only use for you would be to boot your PC remotely. If you do not have that use, keep it disabled.
