I hope somebody will help me (in English now because i was a bit confused)

I have NSLU2 and it took me 2 weeks to get installed the IP range.
Step by step i learn more but how to manage the next step.

I have installed the NSLU2 at my router and the controle lamps works. I see also in my network the NSLU2 icon. Now, I want to acces the extern harddrive whats attached at the NSLU2. The HD is also formatted.

I cant acces the HD from my laptop.
    Version: V2.3R63-uNSLUng-6.8-beta

I will explain what I have done. I made a netwerk connection, I chosed for a station "N" and chose the file \\Lkg7f613b\hdd_1_1_1 but I cant get any connection.
Eventhought I chose for username where I locked in with admin admin. I get the messag that i cant make acces. See picture

I have ben looking on the internet for the right info but its difficult for me to understand everything. Thats why I am here with the hope somebody will help me.

Something more: When i chose for network connection than I can chose between:

    \\Nslu2\admin 1
    \\Nslu2\disk 1

When I chose for Admin than I get acces to my HD, I have to enter my password (admin admin) but when I restart my computer than i have no connection anymore. With \\Lkg7f613b\hdd_1_1_1 and \\Nslu2\disk 1 I cant get any connection.

I hope my request is clear and please I Hope somebody will help me.

Zo te zien gebruik je Vista. Heb je de Vista firewall ingesteld zodat ie je lokale netwerk als "veilig" beschouwt? Als je dat niet doet, kun je geen file shares openen op andere computers inclusief de NSLU2.

It looks like you're using Vista. Did you set the Vista firewall so that it regards the LAN as "safe"? If you don't, you won't be able to open any file shares on other computers including the NSLU2.

Yes, I have done this. I have also a computer with XP and with the same problem. Since I use a new NSLU2 (secondhand) I have this problem. I had no problems with the old one.
I have also this error 0x80070035
Ja ik heb het ook geprobeerd met de firewall off. Ik heb ook een comp met XP, zelfde problem. Met mijn oude NSLU2 werkte het zonder probleem. MOest een nieuwe kopen, 2hands.

    Any other suggestions?
