    Please help me.

I have tried to downgrade my firmware from 1.01.15 to 1.01.05, as I was having all sorts of problems.

The downgrade was successfull according to the router, until it rebooted.

All that happens now is the power light keeps flashing all the time, with no other lights appearing on.

I can get the LAN port lights to work if I plug in a network cable, but I can not access the router via this route either.

I have tried to reset the router for 30 secs, but this does not do anything.

    Can anyone help me please????

How did you sort it out ?
Are you using now 1.01.05 or 1.01.15 ?

i went back to 1.01.01 and stuck with that since this version seemed the most stable to me..

    Botched firmware upgrade

    Hi,

I seem to have the same problem, a botched firmware update, and can't seem to get any new firmware uploaded now.

When I turn my WAG54G-de on the power LED first blinks green but then quickly turnd red. I can ping the router on its IP but http connections are refused.

So next I tried to upload a firmware via tftp (both while it is booting and later) using "put <firmware.bin>" but all I get is a password failure.

Is there any trick to it or is the firmware so broken it can't do tftp anymore?

    Hi,

After a hard reset and with "admin", do you still get a password failure ?

Where should I put the password? tftp has no user/pass.

Thanks for that tftp.exe. That solved the problem.

Now, is there a linux binary for it too or do I have to sniff the protocol and write my own?
