    Hi all

Sorry by post here but i was finding in the forum something that can help me and nothing for now.

I have a router RV042 and i want to connect with QUICKVPN in my notebook from someplace of Dinamarca to Mexico.

The problem is that only can connect when i have the wan addreess ip directly to my notebook (with a DMZ port). I saw in someones post that many people can connect without configure their network connection.

    Can anybody help me?

    Not sure what you mean...

You must have a network connection to connect with quickvpn. This can be either from your home lan to someone else's quickvpn enabled router, or from an internet cafe to your own router.

Is this the answer you're looking or is there more to it?

have you setup the RV042 VPN Client Access page to accept the QVPN client? once you have and you connect the VPN Client, just connect to your remote workstation with the run commandline.

    \\ip address\to w/s share\

or use remote desktop and type in the IP address of the machine you want to connect to. in the RV042 just port forward port 3389 to the workstation your wanting to access.

QuickVPN client behind a NAT firewall can connect to QuickVPN server (e.g. RV042) without problem. On the client's user interface, you can simply specify the username/password (defined on the VPN Client Access page), IP address (or the DDNS domain name) of the QuickVPN server, and the port (e.g. Auto), and then click the Connect button.

If you are using the latest QuickVPN client (v1.1.0) but not using the certificate, you can connect if you say no at the warning prompt.
