I'm a first time poster and networking newbie, but I've read a number of the FAQs on the site and been unable to resolve this problem. If anyone can offer advice, I'd appreciate it. I have a Linksys WRT54G wireless router connected to my broadband connection. I have a computer connected to the router via ethernet (a Mac Mini) and an Airport Express connected to the router via the wireless network. This is not a bridging question, which seems to be the most FAQ related to the Airport Express. My issue is that when connected as described, my Mini has no problem seeing the Airport Express on the network, and can stream music to the device (which then plays it over my stereo). However, if I do not use ethernet to connect the Mini to the router, but connect via the wireless network, suddenly the Mini can not see the Airport Express. I don't think it's a problem with the Mini, because all the other networking functions normally--surfing the web, ssh, etc. Is there a reason that two devices connected to the router via wireless would not be able to communicate? Thanks for any insight.
