Help wrt54gl a half bricked

    friends:

    I upload a wrong backup to my WRT54GL from a WRT54G and i BRICKED, I made a testpoint pin 16 to ground and ping begin to respond from 192.168.1.1, then I upload a original firmware using tftp2 utility and after 1 minute I can access to router via web, all is perfect but, when I unplug and plug again the energy router continue bricked, it don´t maintain configuration, stop to respond from ping command, please someone to help me, i am became crazy!!!

    Pin-shorting is a desperate measure and can easily damage the flash chip or cpu control lines. Using serial console or JTAG to just erase the nvram is safer even though you have to solder pins to the board.

    Can you load different firmware, Tomato or dd-wrt successfully?
