Help! WRT54GXv2 - multiple VoIP device registration problems

    I have recently purchased a WRT54GX v2 and have problems registering multiple SIP devices with my ITSP. I have tried upgrading the firmware to 2.00.08, but this makes no difference. I have also spoken to Linksys tech support, who suggested a couple of things, but when they did not work they could not help me further!!

    I am using SJ Phone on my laptop, via wireless, a UT Starcom F1000 WiFi phone and a Sipura 3000. I have 2 numbers with my ITSP.

    The first device that attempts to register is successful, and works fine, any other device that tries after this is unable to register.

    I have tried the same setup with a Cisco 831 and a Netgear WGR614, and have had no problems, all devices are able to register and work fine - its only the Linksys that I am having problems with...

    Is anyone having a similar problem? Can anyone help please?

    Try beta 2.00.15, available with chatsupport.

    thanks for the tip. I upgraded the router firmware, but unfortunately am still having the same problem. i have not yet tried different ports for the sip devices (5060/61/62/63), and have not tried implementing QoS on the router (linksys tech support suggested this may help) - i will try and update posts with results.

    Apart from this, is there anything in the actual config that I need to change?

    Along with the QoS, if it doesnt resolve the issue, disable the Firewall option.

    Thanks for your help kingvj.

    I enabled QoS, this still does not allow me to register multiple SIP devices. I then tried to disable the firewall function as well, but again this has not sorted out the problem.

    I have spoken to Linksys technical support again, they advised me that the problem will be bought to the attention of Linksys engineers, who will address the problem in the next firmware release, once they investigate it further and if they determine there to be a problem.

    I cant think of anything else to try!! I can revert back to my netgear or cisco router to make it work, but I wish the linksys would work...
