    Hi all

I bought a HG200 from tescos last year and would like some help with it. I'm pretty sure the logserver function worked at some point but it's not working now. I disabled the functionality and recently turned it back on but the log is empty.

The item came with firmware 1.02.03 and that was meant to fix a bug with the logging function.

I've also had trouble with the remote configuration functionality in the past (can anyone confirm that they've tried that with the HG200 and it works?) and the router wasn't allowing tracert traffic through it. I emailed Linksys about that, got the rather promising reply that they would have to bench test it and get back to me, and then didn't hear from Linksys support again...

Just to clear up another thing about it, I don't think it in fact does support WPA2 (a search on HG200 here leads to a post where linksys claimed it does ).
The WPA options to pick from are:

    -WPA Pre-Shared Key

I was also wondering if anyone had any alternative firmware project they would recommend for it as it would be nice to get some new features or bug fixes included. The source code for it is on Linksys's site. Perhaps someone would want to take a look and see if the tracert bug can be identified.

Tracert of windows XP was used.
  2. i am also experiancing the same issue with the HG200 and tracert, been unable to find a fix for it yet but at least ya know your not the only one :\
