...I am currently stumped. I have one WRT54GS that I have been using to connect to the internet via DSL modem (PPoE). It has been 'serving' my wireless network well for nearly 3 years. I recently purchaed another WRT for this purpose:

I want to have it act as a router, connected (via DHCP) wirelessly locating the aforementioned WRT (the gateway), so that I may connect 4 PCs to it via the ethernet ports. Reason being, my PCs (all Shuttle XPC) use a very flaky USB internally mounted dongle that has been going offline multiple times daily since I upgraded to Vista (poor drivers for the USB wireless units). I figured that I can turn off the USB wireless and use the nVidia networking built into the XPCs if I connect them to the new 'repeater'.
Anyway, I am just not getting this to work at all. Does anyone out there have a tip sheet for this? I tried one that was posted but it did not work for me.

    Much appreciated,
    Dave
