I have experience with networks but isolated. Now I'm trying to create a vpn between users at home and other office. They have dsl or cable access. We want to share resources and possibly terminal server. There is only one server, and it's locacated in headquarters. Our routers are provided by the isp. We have isp like bellsouth, fdn, sprint. In the employees houses we use linksys wrt54gs. Any help and ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

you can create a VPN connection.....if you will use IPsec or PPTP conenection...just make sure that you enable PPTP passthrough or IPsec passthrough on your router....try to open ports as well FOR VPN

creating the server at the main office should be fairly painless. then it doesnt matter where the employee connects from, connection type etc. it will get a local address to that network and from there its your own business. :)
