How can I get my network to let me play TCP/IP & IPX gam

I can't get my games to play with both those protocols. I tried with a simple TCP/IP connection for GTA2 and IPX with warcraft2 (both protocols are installed). I have disabled every single security feature on my WRT54GS and even enable DMZ and nothing helps. Can someone help? When I go to my friend's house his NETGEAR is easy to configure and allow for network play.

    Thank you.

how are you sure the problem is the protocols? possibly a game option or firewall issue?

No, no... that's exactly it. The problem is not the protocols since I can get to play fine on my friend's network. The problem is the firewall or router settings. That's what I'm trying to figure out.

what kind of protection software are you running? just the Windows Firewall? your friends machine might be the one causing the problems, not just yours
