how can I use my NSLU2 to share files with friends

I'm sure this is an easy one for some of you out there ... ;-)
I use a NETGEAR FVS318 DSL VPN firewall router, have installed the NSLU2, assigned a permanent drive letter and have great R/W access to it from my home.
How can my friends find the NSLU2 and have R/W access to it?
    Your help is appreciated.

    Hi Rainer!

There are 2 or 3 options for solving your problem:

Either install a vpn tunnel to your FVS318 or use port forwarding to the NLSU2 web interface.
Or "unslung" (patch) the NLSU2 and use it as FTP server.

btw, is the ..arcor.de a valid email address? Then it would be easier to communicate in German... ;-)

    ... thanks, Roland!
Ups, for any of these 3 options I would need assistance ...
Should this topic not be of general interest or take too long to resolve here we can as well take it offline - eraseme@arcor.de is my valid address.

Hi, for option 1 and 2 I don't think that discussing Netgear issues in a Linksys forum would be a good idea... (so pm will follow)

For the 3rd option http://www.nslu2-linux.org/wiki/Main/HomePage would be a good url to start with.
