    Hi everyone,

I wanna ask if there is any way or release which could make me able to change the wireless band (2.4GHz/5GHz) using GUI.

    Thanks

I am using TomatoUSB and E3000 router, I need a release that its code contains a drop down menu to select the band, it is not necessary for this release to work with e3000, I just want this release to see its code and know how it defines the select band menu, and then I could be able to modify my code to do and design this menu.

    Thank Tou :D

Tomato already has a GUI to control the wireless. Or is there a reason to change it?

Thank you toastman for you reply. I know very well that Tomato has a GUI to control wireless, but it does not control the band, it defines two networks (2.4GHz(eth1) and 5GHz (eth2)), but the idea that I want to be able to change the working band via GUI, so if I work on 5GHz band near the router then I want to go far away from the router, I could be able to change the working band to 2.4 GHz easily through GUI without any need to disconnect the 5 GHz network and then connect to 2.4 GHz network. In summary I want to make myself able to change the band from GUI in a similar way of changing the channel in the GUI (drop down menu). I want an old release which defines a drop down menu for the working band so I would be able to change my GUI code to do this task.

There never has been an older release with a drop-down menu, as far as I am aware. The earliest Tomato with dual band was TomatoUSB/RT, and the GUI for that was what you see now.

    Thanks again Toastman.
I know that I can disable the radios of any of the two bands from status/overview in GUI, but I want to ask if I could connect and disconnect from LAN (2.4/5GHz) using GUI??
