How do I add a USB Printer?

I am running Tomato Shibby and am trying to add a printer to the USB port on my Asus RT-N16. I have searched and googled about this for a week but still am not sure how to do it.

Eventhough I have added the printer in Windows via this direction (http://tomatousb.org/tut:configure-printer-in-windows) but I don't think it's plug and play. Can someone tell me what am I missing? Do I need to install a print server and if so, how do I install a print server? I am not sure how to install a print server to the router... Thanks in advance.

Make sure you check the USB support as shown on the attached.

Hi, that's ok, but also you need to open a new port as a TCP/IP Standard Port at your default printer at "Printer and Faxes" right clicking at its icon then Properties>Ad Port, open new port as IP_192.168.1.1
That is how is working my printer.

Thanks for the info. I got it to work except the printer will print 5 copies of the same thing when I send a print job to it. Any solutions?

Can't remember the exact setting name, but you have to turn off bidirectional communication on the port.

Yea, check @ your Printer> Properties> Ports> lower box and test.
