How do I limit these programs?

My Classifications looks something like this:
    Default Class: Lowest
    Highest - Me
    ...
    Lowest - Bulk Traffic

Yet, my internet still slows down when people start using P2P and streaming videos.
I need a way to limit these programs such that they'll still download or whatever, but do so at a slow speed: Bittorrent, PPStream, Funshion, Xunlei (Thunder5)I think this is the main culprit. It seems to be a massive bandwidth hog.)

Also, if I set default class to "lowest," does that mean that all unclassified programs will automatically be set to "lowest" as well?

There are many reasons why P2P programs run away with your bandwidth, but essentially it is a matter of understanding how QOS works, what it can and cannot do, and how to set it up so that it does what you need. Just setting yourself to highest priority and P2P to lowest, for example, won't accomplish much.

Read through the thread below for tips.
