My neighbour came to me and told me that he can access my internet lol, and ive been trying to figure out how to make it secure as my whole neighbourhood is probably using my internet .
I'm clueless about how to fix it and how to set a password for so that only laptops etc with that password can use it. Somebody told me that I needed the box or manual booklet to make it secure but don't know where I've put it. I do not know the model number of my router either, but desperately need help.

Go over to your neighbors house and beat the living daylights out of him/her, and jump up and down on his PC:)

    1. turn off your broadcast ID
    2. Set up your encryption to at least wpa
    3. set up mac address filters

Go back to your neighbors, determine if he/she is a determined hacker, and if he/she is, blindfold him/her and email them to the farthest country, other than that the golden rule is, if you can send it out, someone can figure it out.:)
