How do I rename the wireless network?

I can't seem to find a "properties" drop down or any other way to rename my home's wireless network. It uses a WRT54G router. At present, it's called just plain linksys. A fine name, but somewhat generic. I'd rather, when guests need to get on, have something obviously from this household when they view the wireless networks in range. I tried the Web-based Utility but saw nothing there. (and, as for the Web-based Utility for setup and configuration, my user name to get to it is linksys plus the password. So I need to change the network name without messing up access to the Web-based Utility).

I need answers in plain English, as I have technological amnesia. Don't assume I will recall the meaning of any but the simplest jargon. However I set this thing up, with a brother's help, I don't remember, nor do I usually recall what most of the acronyms and technical lingo mean unless I've used them recently.

Perhaps I need to redo the setup off the installation disk. If so, let me know. I hesistated to do that so far, fearing I'd somehow screw the reinstallation up and be left with no wireless, all merely to change the network name. Thanks

You can logon your router manually: example

Logon to the routers WebGUI and goto Wireless_Basic.htm

rename the "Wireless Network Name (SSID)" name, save setting and your done.
