How do I use 2 cable modems?

I have two cablemodems at home for the price of one. I'd like to plug them both into my network for increased bandwidth. How do I go about doing so? WRT54G only has 1 wan port. I don't mind buying an additional router if its necessary but I still don't know how to connect it.

Uhm... probably the RV router series is an easier way.

RV016 allows for up to 7 WAN ports. RV042 and the such are for fewer WAN links (and are cheaper too).

Still, read about some TCP/IP basics so you know what to expect. You won't have full WAN1+WAN2 in a single session/connection.

Though, using simple web browsing (which opens multiple connections) or a multiple download/ftp manager like wget (linux) or FlashGet (windows) over a single file will provide full combined speed (WAN1+WAN2).

    Hope it helps.
