First of all I've briefly looked through the forum and not found an answer. I apologise if I've overlooked something. Router: Linksys WRT54GS Version: 1.1 Country/Region: EU - United Kingdom - England I've gone to the main website, looked up my model, looked up my version, clicked "Click here to view GPL Code" and then it shows a this. I naturally go to the bottom of WRT54GS assuming these are all the past and latest firmware updates for my router. At the bottom I get to 4.71.4 WRT54GSV3_v4.71.4_001.tar.gz which I've now downloaded and is sitting on my desktop. My question is what do I do now? I know I need a .bin file and I know where the firmware update section is located in my router but do I need to find the .bin file in this file? Make_all.sh and make.sh are the first two files in the folder. Thanks for any help given. Linksys haven't exactly made firmware updating easy without doing extensive research.
