Can someone explain for me step by step? I am not sure I understand how to set it up and its exact function - as there are really no instructions.

In the right upper corner there's a link "More...", click on it and read!

I did that... but there is no information about WDS watchdog.

    Great first post! :)

What I do is I put the IP of the other router in the text box. When the 2 boxes can't find the other's IP, they reboot.

So, do they check each other by ping every 1,000 seconds?
Or is it, if I haven't heard from this unit in last 1,000 seconds?
    (There is a difference!)

Does it reboot the whole unit or just restart the WDS part?

I'm not sure how it checks to tell you the truth.

One time I saw one of my WRT's rebooting completely all by itself so I think it reboots the whole unit. This is just my educated guess based on what I've seen.
