    Hi,

my rstats file resides on a /cifs1 mount and I'd like to put it on /cifs2 which is mounted from another machine.

Yesterday I copied all the files to the new location and changed the rstats-configuration accordingly via the webinterface. Since then, the file has not been written to, the timestamp did not change.

    Did I make something wrong?

does the log mention cifs errors?
you can specify the writing interval under administration->bandwidth monitoring.

No errors in the log. The default setting for writing interval is 2 days, I changed that to "every hour", let's see what happens.

    Thank you!

    Checked and it works.
Now, what's a decent setting for "writing interval" when writing to a cifs-share?
IMHO the shortest possible is best, because in the case of a router failure there's only litte data lost, am I right?
