How secured is WRT54G's web management?

I plan to enable my WRT54G with the latest firmware from Linksys its remote web management on port 8080 so I can connect to it from the Internet. I am not sure though how secured is it in terms of password cracking. Does it use a high power protection system or is it going to be easy to crack the password? I use a long and complex password for the router.

In this case imho the problem ist not the password. I would be more concerned about security relevant bugs in the webserver running on the WRT54G(S). This is a pretty weird mixture of mini_httpd, thttpd with some broadcom binary-only stuff included. While there are no serious security bugs in the current versions of mini_httpd or thttpd (at least none that I know of), this isn't neccessarily true for this mini_httpd based webserver included in most firmwares for the WRT54G(S).
