    hi,

    This topic has been talked here before, but I could not find the post. So how do I add more public dns servers into dnsmasq custom configuration box?

    thanks,

    Simply add lines like this to your Dns Custom Configuration box:

    server=208.67.222.222
    server=208.67.220.220

    Thanks for replied, but how do you tell the router to use all of the severs after you put them in?

    Add this line in the custom configuration:

    strict-order

    By default, dnsmasq sets the server that is first to respond to its queries as the primary server. Adding the line above forces dnsmasq to use the order the servers appear in /etc/resolv.dnsmasq

    Is it possible to specify a DNS server for a specific IP address on the network?

    For example, all computers on the network should use OpenDNS as their DNS server except one specific machine/IP which should use the ISP provided DNS.

    Any thoughts?

    I was coming here to ask this EXACT same thing! I want to be using OpenDNS on the kid's computers (based on their IP address) but don't want any of the other computers using it.

    Yes, I need to handle this for one of my neighbours. It would be good to have this option for my place as well.
