I can set from Default to "manual" and enter the value in the field but it will not change in status/overview page.

    It sticks to 1458.

    my connection type is pppoe.

so, is there a way to change that value? maybe by using telnet?

i've found in the past that some new scripted code on a lot of WebGUIs does not work correctly against some web browsers and Antivirus or Spyware programs. it might be worth trying a different browser or making sure the Antivirus package does not interfere with the WebGUIs IP address etc.
