I use Tomato Pandora version and ZTE H618B(16M flash & 64M RAM). Enable the USB to connect the 3G wireless card. I run some application in the RAM. The application need to access the Internet through the USB 3G network.

Now I need to monitor the status of the application. Currently I use the net cable between Main router and this H618B. So that I can login H618B. But now I hope that I can control H618B by the wireless. That is to say, H618B act as a wireless client of the main router.

I tested and found that when H618B's wireless is configured as wireless client:
If WAN is configured as DHCP or static. H618B can get an IP address from main router and accessible.
If WAN is configured as 3G, from the main router, I can see a valid IP address has been assigned to H618B, but I couldn't access H618B by its IP address. Why?

Whatever router has the WAN connection has to be at the top of the tree and then you can branch down off it.

Your main router would need to be a client of your Tomato Pandora, not the other way around.
