How to pass local network from WAN to PC through WRT54GS?

I have a WRT54GS that connects to a local network with a PPTP connection. I'd like to pass the 10.35.0.X connection from the WAN to my PC (on a 192.168.1.X network) How can I do this? Thanks!

If I understood your question correctly, then do the following:

If your PC OS is configured with a DHCP client, then just connect your PC behind this WRT54GS router; otherwise, you may have to configure your PC with an IP address.

ok... I guess I didnt explain very well at all... I'm in Moscow, and most internet companies work by running a network cable that gets you onto their local network into your apartment. If I dont authenticate to their VPN connection (with XP) I can still browse to an ftp server called ftp.local (10.35.0.3), and download movies and stuff (so that part is kinda nice : ) ) I have my IP set as DHCP, and then name and pass for VPN.

With the router in the middle, I can no longer get to 10.35.0.X with my computer. It picks up the 192.168.17.179 IP. SO, as far as I can tell, the router (or my comp without the router) sits on the 10.35.0.X network, and after its authnticated, gets the 192.168.17.X network. What I'd like to be able to do is to browse to the ftp server from behind my router.

I've included my ipconfig /all if I just hook up to my network directly, without the router.

Maybe a short question would be, is there a way to route multiple local networks through a router to a PC, without the DMZ? OK... I hope that was better... thanks. : )

When you're behind the router, try manually setting your dns server addresses to 10.35.0.5 and 10.35.0.3 .

    [EDIT]
I just noticed that you pinged ftp.local and name resolving is ok. If you can ping the server, then you should be able to connect to it. Are you having problems with logging in? As long as the router is set up as a gateway, gives you an ip address, and you are on the lan side of the router you should not have problems accessing resources on the wan(internet) side of the router.

Just a dumb question, Does your ISP use your mac address as authentication too? Meaning can you only get online with that computer and not any others? Might have to spoof the mac address, or I could be completely wrong... Sometimes you have to do that with comcrap.

No, there isnt any MAC authentication.... also, after I authenticate with PPTP, i lose the ability to ping ftp.local, and all of 10.35.0.X. The ftp server name resolves, but I cant connect to it...times out. I changed the DNS servers in the router to be 10.35.0.5, and that got me a little further... any other ideas? Thanks for all the help so far. :)

Can you authenticate to the VPN and give us a printout of the "route print" command?

    [Edit]
Also, Im not sure as to why you have to authenticate to the VPN.

ok... here it is BEFORE I authenticate to the VPN(PPTP). I'm actually not sure why I have so much in there... I dont recognize most of those adresses. In the AFTER one, I have some new 192.X.X.X addresses and the default gateway appeared too.
